Cory White, a 26-year-old thrill-seeker, works full time, and is currently enrolled in college studying business management. In addition to cycling, which offers him a different perspective on the world and allows him to meet new, intriguing people, Cory enjoys bowling, practicing parkour, and watching movies. He joined scouts in 1996, and Troop 165 in 1999. Through scouting, he overcame his fear of heights and learned to challenge his physical limits, while maintaining a positive, healthy outlook on life.
Cory's Eagle Scout project involved designing, constructing, and landscaping two entrance signs for Loriella Park, a local park in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. With aspirations of owning his own business, Cory has been designing a training facility specializing in alternative training practices. Cory has aided his father with planning and organizing many of Troop 165's previous adventures and can usually be found riding throughout the group, taking pictures and videos to document the trip, and making certain everyone completes the ride safely.
